How do the networks we use every day to communicate work? What is quantum internet? What are the secrets of smart networks? How do fiber optics transmit information and satellites?
To answer these and other questions, RESTART is promoting “Connessioni Invisibili” (Invisible Connections), a five-part journey into the world of telecommunications to discover and understand how research is profoundly changing the face of Italy, making it more connected, sustainable, and smart.
Narrated by journalist and science communicator Massimo Polidoro, “Invisible Connections” is a video series conceived and produced by Think About Science and written by Lorenzo Paletti, for and with the RESTART Foundation.
A journey into innovation
Each episode (about 20 minutes long) explore different aspect of the telecommunications world: from the new technologies that make global connection possible, to research projects paving the way for new forms of interaction and knowledge.

- Promote scientific culture through clear, accessible, and visually engaging storytelling.
- Bring young people closer to the world of research and innovation.
- Inspire a new generation of curious minds, scientists, and innovators.
