The legacy of RESTART for Public Engagement

On November 7, the Director of the RESTART Foundation, Adele Del Bello, participated in the Destinazione Public Engagement event organized by the Italian Network of Universities and Research Institutions for Public Engagement – APEnet, at the University of Naples Federico II.

This was an important opportunity to highlight the value of RESTART not only in research but also for its commitment to Public Engagement, which helps to build trust in public research by involving citizens through initiatives that can serve as models for the future.

In particular, the Director presented three actions through which RESTART has involved and empowered citizens, students, and stakeholders:

These initiatives demonstrate how the active involvement of the audience is a factor of social cohesion, promoting multidirectional dialogue between the actors involved and stimulating cross-cutting collaborations.
