RESTART Final Plenary Dissemination Event: “Shaping Horizons In Future Telecommunications” | January 19-21, 2026 | Rome
The RESTART Final Plenary Dissemination Event entitled “Shaping Horizons In Future Telecommunications” is a high-level event organized by the RESTART Foundation which will be held on January 19th – 21st, 2026 at the Centro Congressi Auditorium della Tecnica of CONFINDUSTRIA, located at Viale Umberto Tupini, 65 in Rome.
The event will bring together leading voices to discuss the key challenges facing the European telecommunications sector at a pivotal moment for shaping Europe’s technology strategy in a rapidly evolving global landscape.
The event will feature presentations, interviews, and debates with top representatives from European and Italian institutions, focusing on continental strategies for technology innovation and on regaining competitiveness in comparison with other world regions.
A dedicated exhibition area will showcase the results of the RESTART research program. Researchers from academia and industry will present live demos of the most significant scientific and technological outcomes developed over the past three years, guiding participants through the cutting edge of innovation and its potential impact on the future of telecommunications.
On January 20, 2026, the winning startups of the “RESTART AI for networks and data management Challenge” startup contest will have a dedicated exhibition space and the opportunity to present a pitch, in the presence of innovation and business experts, investors, venture capitalists, and institutional representatives.
On January 21, 2026, selected companies will be present and have a free exhibition space to present their activities and the professional opportunities available to young researchers in the Program.
Registration is mandatory to participate in the event and is open until December 19th, 2026. All applications will be evaluated by the organization, with the exception of partners in the RESTART Research Program’s Cascade Calls and RESTART project partners, whose registration will be automatically accepted. The 27 project partners will be required to pay a contribution of € 150, VAT included, to cover expenses.
To perform the registration and the payment, two alternatives are possible:
- Registration and Payment with credit card: Fill the online form at the end of the page. After submitting your data, the Nexi payment form will appear. If applicable, insert payment and credit card details and submit the payment. Upon reception of the payment, the CNIT office will issue the invoice.
- Registration and Payment via wire transfer: Fill this Word form (click here for the PDF version), send it to event.registration at cnit.it, and, if applicable, pay via wire transfer. The CNIT office will then issue the invoice.
