Great success for the second edition of the RESTART Tech Camp on 5G and Open RAN
Great success for the second edition of the RESTART Tech Camp on 5G and Open RAN. From September 9th to 12th, around 100 participants joined the event organized by CNIT – National Interuniversity Consortium for Telecommunications and hosted by the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering of Politecnico di Milano.
Four days, one more than the previous edition, which saw remarkable guests from academia and industry engaging with students and researchers in a space with a highly collaborative spirit and mutual exchange.
Immersive lectures, hands-on activities, demonstrations of innovative technologies and presentations by students were just some of the initiatives that enlivened the Camp, offering a training opportunity in which professionals and researchers were able to share their experiences and offer valuable insights on the topics addressed.
Software-defined radios, smart radio devices for 5G and beyond, software and data science for wireless networks were among the main issues around which discussions were directed.
Finally, there was no shortage of competitiveness, with an award given for the best contributions presented during the poster & demo session.
