1st RESTART workshop on Soft Skills for University Professors and Researchers: the art of public speaking
The RESTART program, under Mission 5 – Education & Training, aims to strengthen the public speaking skills of University teachers. For this reason, the 1st RESTART workshop on Soft Skills for Universities: the art of public speaking was organized. The event, a Soft Skill 4 Edu (S24E) initiative, will be held in attendance in Bologna on June 25th-26th, 2024, at CNIT’s WiLab facility at 20 Via Paolo Nanni Costa.
The workshop, aimed at University professors and researchers, focuses on the ability to deal with popular discourse, intended for a non-technical audience, as well as the effective presentation of technical content in a University classroom or at a conference.
The event program begins at 2 p.m. on June 25th and ends at 1 p.m. on June 26th. During the evening, participants will be able to prepare for speech rehearsals to be conducted the following day.
The course is open to a maximum of 20 participants to ensure high interaction. Registration is open until April 8th, and the event will be confirmed only once a minimum number of sign-ups has been reached.
The workshop has a participation fee of EUR 125. This fee has to be payed only after the course is confirmed.
