RESTART gives patronage to the 1st Workshop on Secure and Energy-aware Open and Programmable RAN Networks (SEOPRAN): an event that gathers researchers, industry professionals, and practitioners to explore state-of-the-art research on energy-efficient and secure Open RAN and Next-G RAN systems, addressing topic such as security solutions for Open RAN architectures, data driven control techniques for energy efficiency optimization, sequential decision making control techniques for closed-loop control of the RAN, security analysis of Open RAN architectures and interfaces, conflict mitigation in Open RAN networks, and extension of Open RAN deployments to non-terrestrial networks.
The workshop will be held during the 28th Conference on Innovation in Clouds, Internet and Networks (IEEE ICIN 2025 – Paris, March 11-14, 2025) and has the sponsorship of the IEEE Network Intelligence Emerging Technologies IEEE NI ETI initiative.
