Workshop on Data-Plane Programmability and Edge Network Acceleration in the AI Era (NetAccel-AI 2024) under the patronage of RESTART

The 1st International Workshop on Data-Plane Programmability and Edge Network Acceleration in the AI Era (NetAccel-AI 2024), under the patronage of the RESTART Foundation, will take place during the 25th IEEE International Conference on High Performance Switching and Routing (HPSR 2024), held in Pisa, Italy, from July 22^nd to July 24^th, 2024. 

The workshop is aimed to offer a common venue to exchange visions and latest advances in research for professionals and researchers working on the areas of programmable data-planes and acceleration techniques. 

The NetAccel-AI workshop will be held on Monday July 22^nd, with a panel scheduled for the afternoon, from 2:20 p.m. and a technical session from 3:45 p.m., that will feature the presentation of seven scientific contributions.

The panel, entitled: “Networked AI for Environmental Monitoring of the Rural Areas“, will be moderated by Antonino Albanese (Italtel) and will be contributed by the following panelists:

• Agatha Badrowski (Skaylink);
• Flavio Esposito (Saint Louis University);
• Claudia Principe (CNR/S.Rossore Park);
• Paolo Varuzza (Geographica).
